The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program, supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), offers a 10-week summer research opportunity for undergraduate students.
Hosted by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University, the program brings together students from Texas A&M and institutions across the nation to collaborate with world-class faculty and graduate mentors on research at the forefront of smart energy and smart systems.
By participating, you will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, including intelligent signal processing, advanced computation, microelectronics, and nanoscale device synthesis, as you work to develop next-generation algorithms, protocols, and prototype technologies.
In addition to research, you will take part in lab tours, professional development workshops, ethics seminars, and sessions on graduate school preparation, including guidance on the GRE.
The program culminates with a research symposium, where you will showcase your work through poster presentations, sharing discoveries, ideas, and innovations with peers and faculty!
