About University Health Services

School life can be stressful. University Health Services (UHS) and the Texas A&M University College of Engineering have partnered to help promote your mental health and wellness. We recognize that students' schedules are demanding, so UHS offers office hours in the Zachry Engineering Education Complex (ZACH 382E).

UHS also provides non-emergency, same-day assistance for immediate emotional support needs at the Student Services Building, on the fourth floor, Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. The HelpLine is available at 979-845-2700 from 4 p.m. to 8 a.m. weekdays and 24 hours a day on weekends when classes are in session. It provides telephone, peer support, information, crisis intervention, and referrals to students, as well as those concerned about students.

The TELUS HEALTH app provides free, immediate 24/7 real time chat and phone support, along with virtual single session and short-term counseling. Users also gain access to an extensive digital content library, containing articles, podcasts, infographics and videos addressing a variety of wellbeing topics, as well as access to free virtual fitness sessions.

UHS and College of Engineering have also collaborated to present a Workshop Series specifically for engineering students.

For more information on all services provided by UHS, visit the UHS services website. Several notable resources include self-help, emergency resources, Let's Talk Program and Suicide and Awareness Prevention
