The basic requirements for EH students in CVEN/EVEN are below. View your progress in the EH status portal. For a more detailed list of requirements, see the information section below.
Each semester:
- Maintain a 3.5 GPA
- Attend at least one EH activity
- See our calendar page for upcoming EH activities
Each academic year (fall and spring semester):
- Schedule and attend your honors meeting with the CVEN/EVEN department coordinator.
- Email Dr. Anna Birely at abirely@civil.tamu.edu to schedule your meeting.
- Complete the EH survey in May.
Before graduating:
- Earn 18 honors credit hours.
- Must be engineering, math or science courses.
- 4-6 credit hours must come from 291H/485H/491H honors research, with at least 2 hours of CVEN/EVEN 491H.
- Complete at least three CVEN/EVEN honors courses.
