Teaching
Professors of practice teach undergraduate, master’s and doctorate level courses. They help develop new curriculum that reflects the latest industry technology and practices.
Research
Professors of practice serve as research advisors and principal investigators for research grants. They also act as industry liaisons to identify research topics and research support. They publish in professional journals and conference materials, as well.
Service
Professors of practice serve as student mentors, curriculum advisors and faculty advisors to student professional organizations. They also serve as professional society officers and members.
