Weather Update

Due to inclement weather affecting the Bryan-College Station area, Texas A&M University has cancelled all classes for Monday, January 26. Additionally, all campus operations have been suspended. Placement outcomes for recent cycles of the Entry to a Major process are provided below.

2025 ETAM Placement Outcomes

In the 2025 Spring Cycle:

  • 100% of eligible applicants were offered a major (3,146 students).
  • 78.6% of eligible applicants were placed in their first-choice major (2,474 students).
  • 88.0% of eligible applicants were placed in their first- or second-choice major (2,769 students).

2024 ETAM Placement Outcomes

In the 2024 calendar year:

  • 100% of eligible applicants were offered a major (4,229 students).
  • 70.1% of eligible applicants were placed in their first-choice major (2,963 students).
  • 85.5% of eligible applicants were placed in their first- or second-choice major (3,615 students).

2023 ETAM Placement Outcomes

In the 2023 calendar year:

  • 100% of eligible applicants were offered a major (3,987 students).
  • 69.8% of eligible applicants were placed in their first-choice major (2,783 students).
  • 82.1% of eligible applicants were placed in their first- or second-choice major (3,275 students).

In the 2022 calendar year:

  • 100% of eligible applicants were offered a major (3,635 students).
  • 74.5% of eligible applicants were placed in their first-choice major (2,708 students).
  • 84.1% of eligible applicants were placed in their first- or second-choice major (3,058 students).
