Online Graduate Engineering Program Rankings

The Texas A&M University online graduate engineering program is 1st in Texas and 9th overall in the U.S., according to U.S. News & World Report's "Best Online Master's in Engineering Programs" for 2026.

We are also ranked 7th in the U.S. in U.S. News & World Report's "Best Online Master's in Engineering Programs for Veterans" for 2026, jumping up six spots from the previous year.

Graduate Engineering Program Rankings

The College of Engineering is 1st in Texas and 9th among public institutions in the nation in U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Engineering Graduate Schools" for 2026 rankings. In these rankings, eight of our departments are also ranked in the top 10 among public institutions in the nation.

Note: Our petroleum engineering and nuclear engineering programs continue to hold top national spots, ranking 2nd and 3rd respectively.
