Class cancelled/Operations suspended

Due to inclement weather affecting the Bryan-College Station area, Texas A&M University has cancelled all classes for Tuesday, Jan. 21. Additionally, all campus operations have been suspended. A decision about Wednesday, Jan. 22 will be made by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21. Doyun Kim

Best Ph.D. thesis: Doyun Kim has been recognized for his work on the paper “Mechanical Properties of Emerging 2d Semiconductors.”


Mustafa Abdelrahman

Best Paper, Graduate Student:Mustafa Abdelrahman has been recognized for his work on the paper, Material assembly from collective action of shape-changing polymers.”


Sophia Ahmed

Excellence in Outreach: Sophia Ahmed has been recognized for excellence in outreach in the Queer Empowerment Council (QEC), a new student organization in its first year of operation, and Queer Graduate and Professional Aggies which has showcased her leadership and passion for community service first-hand. 


Jaybelle Pranada

Outstanding Teacher Award: Jaybelle Pranada has been recognized for her outstanding performance as a teaching assistant in MSEN 320- Deformation and Failure Mechanisms in Engineering Materials.


 

Jasdeep Singh

Entrepreneurship:Jasdeep Singh has been recognized for his work towards healthcare innovation on obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) with “DreamTherapy” earning third place in Texas A&M’s Ideas Challenge.
