Invention comes to your classroom:
Activate Students’ Creativity and Critical Thinking

Invention Convention offers a free, flexible, hands-on curriculum that brings invention education to classrooms and showcases events nationwide. Through this program, students develop critical thinking by identifying real-world problems, exploring the role of inventions, and using STEM and entrepreneurial skills to create practical solutions. Invention Conventions happen through schools, after-school programs, clubs and other organizations. State and local Invention Convention programs are springing up all over the world!

ICTX Summer Teacher Trainings

Join us this summer for hands-on Invention Convention Texas (ICTX) Teacher Trainings designed to help you bring invention education to life in your classroom or program!

These interactive sessions provide an introduction to the ICTX program, guide you through supporting student inventors, and offer practical tools you can implement right away. Whether you are new to ICTX or looking to strengthen your existing program, these trainings will equip you with the strategies, resources, and confidence to get started.

Training Dates & Locations:

  • June 18, 2026 — San Antonio, TX (FREE)
  • June 30, 2026 — College Station, TX (FREE)
  • July 30, 2026 — College Station, TX ($30)

Participants will explore the invention process, learn best practices for guiding student projects, and connect with a network of educators passionate about innovation and problem-solving. Each session includes hands-on activities, ready-to-use classroom resources and dedicated time for collaboration and planning.
