Dean of Engineering Excellence Awards

In 2015 the Dean of Engineering Excellence Awards were established to recognize outstanding faculty at all three ranks: assistant professor, associate professor and full professor. These awards recognize the faculty members who excel in all three major pillars of academia: teaching, research and service/engagement. 

The awards for each rank will include a monetary reward and plaque. Honorees and their guests will be invited to the spring College Honors and Awards ceremony.

Nomination Guide

To ensure the eligibility of nominees, please see the eligibility requirements page.

Departments with more than 30 tenure-track faculty are allowed to nominate two faculty members in each category, and the rest are allowed to nominate one per category. At the full professor level, faculty with endowed positions are not eligible for the award.

Nomination Package

The nomination package for each nominee should include:

1. The nomination form.
2. The nominee’s CV (limited to 20 pages).
