Texas A&M Engineering Internal Faculty Award Nominations
Nominations for all 2021 internal faculty awards and department coversheets are due to the Texas A&M University College of Engineering on Jan. 10, 2022. Please check with your department or Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) center for internal deadlines. TEES Faculty Fellow and TEES Young Faculty Fellow Award nominations must be routed through an engineering department head or a TEES center director. All other award nominations have to be routed through the department head for approval and should be submitted through the department to the college.

There should be one complete PDF for each nomination in the order described below.
Eligibility restrictions for Texas A&M Engineering internal faculty award nominations are:
- A nominee must have completed the corresponding years of service to Texas A&M University by Jan. 1, 2022: full professors - five years; associate professors - three years; assistant professors - three years; and academic professional track faculty- three years. For teaching awards, the service need not be continuous so long as the nominee was budgeted at least part time to teach for a total of five years. For the instructional faculty teaching awards, the service need not be continuous so long as the nominee was budgeted at least part time to teach for a total of three years.
- Nominees must not have received an award in the same category during the previous five years. However, a person may be nominated for an award in a different category.
- Individuals who are nominated for awards may not serve on the College of Engineering Honors and Awards Committee. If an individual who is chosen for the committee ends up being nominated, please contact Nicole Abinajm immediately with the name and contact information for a replacement.
