The Texas A&M University College of Engineering's Craig and Galen Brown Engineering Honors Program has students in all departments. Please note that the general engineering requirements are the same as the base requirements for the Engineering Honors program.
To graduate with Engineering Honors (EH), students must complete 18 hours of honors credit, including:
- ENGR 181H (1 credit hour; required during the first semester in EH).
- Honors Undergraduate Research (typically 491H): 6 hours for ISEN, ECEN, and CSCE; 4 hours for all other departments.
- At least 12 hours of honors credit from College of Engineering courses.
- Up to 6 hours of honors credit from approved STEM honors courses (MATH, STAT, CHEM, PHYS, or BIOL).
Students must also:
- Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Earn an honors GPA of 3.25 or higher.
- Maintain good standing with the EH Program by completing semester and annual program requirements.
- Maintain good standing with the University. Students found responsible for an Aggie Honor Code violation or other student misconduct will be removed from Engineering Honors.
