Basic Requirements
The basic requirements for EH students in BMEN are below. For a more detailed list of requirements, see the information section below.
Each Semester
- Maintain a 3.5 GPA
- Attend at least 1 EH activity
- See our EH calendar page for upcoming activities
Each Academic Year (Fall and Spring semesters)
- Students must complete the BMEN Undergraduate Research Seminar during their first year in EH-BMEN (BMEN 481)
- Schedule and attend your honors meeting with a member of the BMEN Honors Committee (see Department Coordinators above)
- Complete the EH survey in May
Before Graduating
- Earn 18 honors credit hours
- Must be engineering, math or science courses
- 4-6 credit hours must come from 491 honors research
- 9 credit hours must come from BMEN honors courses
- Complete LAUNCH Undergraduate Thesis by the end of senior year
