The basic requirements for EH students in ISEN are below. View your progress in the EH status portal. For a more detailed list of requirements, see the information section below. 

Each semester:

  • Maintain a 3.5 GPA.
  • Attend at least one EH activity.

Each academic year (fall and spring semester):

  • Schedule and attend at least one official honors meeting each academic year with the ISEN department coordinator based on your research and/or ISEN focus area of interest.

    • Dr. Ferris (Health & Human Systems Engineering) - Schedule your honors meeting via Navigate.
    • Dr. Sagapuram (Advanced Manufacturing) - Schedule your honors meeting via email: dinakar@tamu.edu.
  • Complete the EH survey in May.

Before graduating:

  • Earn 18 honors credit hours.
    • Must be engineering, math or science courses.
    • 6 credit hours must come from ISEN 491 honors research.
