What is music if not math?

Whether you're a musical virtuoso or completely tone-deaf, this design event is for you! Engineering students from all disciplines and class years are invited to come together and participate in the Binomial Rhapsody innovation challenge. This design project will ask teams to use their engineering knowledge, musical skill or passion and scientific know-how to set the engineering formulas found throughout the Zachry Engineering Education Complex's E-Quad to music. You will only be limited by your imagination!

The program meets during the fall semester once a week for two hours, during which students form teams and design and develop their projects. During the spring semester, project teams perform at E-Week and other exciting venues! Past performances have included being the finale act for Project Showcase and a performance for the Dean's Advisory Board meeting, as well as the Dean's Outstanding Alumni Banquet.

We kick off the year in October. If you want to join mid-term, please email us at smrivera@tamu.edu. Want more information? Contact Shayla Rivera '83, ENGR[x] Director | Professor of Practice.
