Startup Pitch Competitions

Aggies Invent is a 48-hour intensive design competition where students develop a solution to a problem, create a prototype and business model, and then pitch it to industry judges for cash prizes.

This competition asks participants to explore a critical part of the entrepreneur’s journey - identifying and exploring problems that could be the basis for a great business. Students are asked to pitch a need statement; no solutions required.

This high-energy contest serves as a platform to display the exceptional startups currently being developed by Texas A&M University current and former students.

Entering its 24th year, this competition gives collegiate entrepreneurs real-world experience to pitch their startups, enhance their business strategy and learn what it takes to launch a successful company. Students must have a graduate student on the team.

Encourages students to prepare a compelling application that demonstrates creative, careful, and methodical planning, but it will not require a fully developed business plan.

The competition recognizes Texas-based companies with high-growth potential and provides seed funding to help them effectively execute their ideas and advance product development.
