The Texas A&M Engineering Academy at Collin College is an innovative co-enrollment program that provides a pathway to students interested in pursuing an engineering degree at Texas A&M University. Students admitted to the Engineering Academy at Collin College are Texas A&M engineering students co-enrolled at Texas A&M University in the College of Engineering and at Collin College Technical Campus. 

Prequalification requirements:  
You must satisfy one of the math readiness criteria to be qualified for the Engineering Academy: 

  • Exams and scores for pre-calculus:: CLM: 255-284 or ALEKS: 61-75 
  • Exams and scores for calculus 1: CLM: 285-300 or ALEKS: 76-100 
  • Course accepted to show college readiness: college algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus or calculus I with a grade of A, B or C
