The Texas A&M Engineering Academy at Midland College is an innovative co-enrollment program that provides a pathway to students interested in pursuing a Texas A&M University engineering degree. Students admitted to the academy are Texas A&M University students co-enrolled at the Texas A&M College of Engineering and at Midland College. 

Prequalification requirements:  
You must satisfy one of the math readiness criteria to be qualified for the Engineering Academy: 

  • Course accepted to show college readiness: Math 1314 or higher  
  • Exam and score for pre-calculus: Accuplacer 237 
  • Exam and score for calculus I: Accuplacer 265
