Application Requirements 

1. EngineeringCAS Application: when searching for our program applications, use the filter to select Texas A&M University under the institution section. Then, type “chemical engineering” into the search bar. 
2. Transcripts: Unofficial transcripts may be uploaded for review purposes. If you are admitted, you will need to provide official transcripts to the Texas A&M Office of Admissions BEFORE you can register for classes. International applicants do not need to request a WES evaluation.
3. Statement of Purpose: Applicants should limit their SOP to a page or a page and a half.
4. Letters of Recommendation: Applicants will need to request three (3) letters of recommendation.
5. Resume/CV: Applicants should upload a Resume or CV
6. Proof of English Proficiency (International Applicants only): To be eligible for admission to a graduate or professional program at Texas A&M University, international applicants are required to meet English language proficiency (ELP) standards provided in the form of Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test scores. To qualify for graduate assistantships with direct or support instructional responsibilities, the State of Texas also requires that international graduate students meet ELP standards beyond those required for admission. View the English Language Proficiency website for more information.
7. Application Fee: International applicants must pay a $90 application fee plus the EngineeringCAS processing fee of $58. International Ph.D. applicants may request a waiver of the $58 EngineeringCAS fee by submitting an online waiver form. Fee waiver requests are only considered for Fall Ph.D. applicants.
