Application Process and Deadlines

Applications for graduate study should be completed by using the EngineeringCAS System: EngineeringCAS. Application fees, deadlines, required documentation, test scores and other requirements are explained in the materials associated with the application.

Deadlines for Fall (September) admissions:

  • Ph.D. degrees: December 15
  • In-person Master's degrees (thesis and non-thesis):  January 15
  • Online Master's degrees (non-thesis only): July 15
  • Online graduate certificates: July 15

Deadline for Spring (January) admissions: 

  • Ph.D. degrees: September 1
  • In-person Master's degrees (thesis and non-thesis): September 1
  • Online Master's degrees (non-thesis only): December 1
  • Online graduate certificates: December 1

All deadlines apply to both international and U.S. applications. All applicants are considered for financial aid. There is not a separate financial aid application.

Current or recent Texas A&M undergraduates interested in Master's programs should consider the Quick Admit program, which has different deadlines.
