Undergraduate Advising

Hello and welcome! The Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution (ETID) department's advising hours are listed below.

Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., the ETID Advising office remains closed when Texas A&M University is closed. Please refer to the Academic Calendar for official dates.

Advising Hours

February 3 – March 21

To ensure personalized support, our advising services are available by drop-in (mornings) and appointment (afternoons), Monday through Friday, during the following hours:

Monday

All-day Appointments: 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
- In-person and virtual (Zoom) appointments via Navigate.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Drop-In Advising - Mornings: 9:00–11:30 a.m.
- In-person drop-in advising: ZACH 481
- Virtual (Zoom) drop-in advising: ETID Drop-In Advising
Appointment Advising - Afternoons: 1:30–4:00 p.m.
- In-person and virtual (Zoom) appointments via Navigate.

Friday

All-day Appointments: 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Things to Know

Appointments fill up fast, so book accordingly. If you are over 5 minutes late and haven't notified your advisor, you will be marked off as a ‘no show.’

Are you a General Engineering student?

If you haven't done Entry-to-a-Major (ETAM), you will NOT be able to enroll in any ETID courses until you are placed in one of our majors.
If you are awaiting an ETAM decision, you must wait until you get your results.
