What is Multidisciplinary Engineering Technology?

Multidisciplinary Engineering Technology (MXET) blends multiple engineering and technology disciplines to solve complex challenges in industry and product development. Unlike traditional fields centered on a specific area, MXET equips you with the versatility to succeed across diverse industries.

Two Tracks

The MXET program offers two specialized tracks:

  • Mechatronics track – students earn a Bachelor of Science degree in MXET
  • STEM Educator track – students earn a Bachelor of Science degree in MXET along with teacher certification in engineering, math, and physical science for use in secondary education
