06/25/2026 — Impactful Research: Data-driven optimization of underground hydrogen storage 

Researchers in the Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering have developed a machine learning-based workflow to optimize underground hydrogen storage. The team built a workflow that evaluates five key performance indicators at once to screen millions of storage site operational scenarios and optimize storage operation in minutes.
