The Master of Industrial Distribution (MID) program admits students for our fall cohort each year. Admissions is held on a rolling basis with decisions awarded within weeks of application completion. The admission deadline is the end of May every year. To encourage students to apply early, we offer the 3-2-1 Early Admission Scholarship program.
Rolling Admission: All applications are evaluated on a rolling basis. If you can complete the application within three weeks, the admission committee will review it and provide a decision within three weeks. Your priority is our priority. The final Application Deadline is May 31.
3-2-1 Early Admission Scholarship: Applicants who are admitted by October 31 receive a $3,000 scholarship, by November 30 receive a $2,000 scholarship, and by December 31 receive a $1,000 scholarship. You are encouraged to apply early in the academic calendar, as space becomes limited by the final deadline. In addition, applying in the earlier rounds will allow you more time to qualify for and address such matters as scholarships, financial aid, grants, loans, etc.

Application Process
1. Complete and submit an EngineeringCAS Application
2. Submit unofficial transcripts
Submit unofficial transcripts from your undergraduate degree college or university. If you took classes post-graduation at a university or college, or you have an existing master's degree, we will require unofficial transcripts from them as well. Official transcripts will be required upon an admission offer.
3 Submit your resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Make sure you have a complete work history on your resume or CV illustrating accomplishments and highlights during your professional career.
4. Submit two letters of recommendation
Each of your recommenders will upload their letter in EngineeringCAS. Letters of recommendation should highlight the relevant skills and personal traits that make you a good fit for a graduate program. It is preferred that these letters come from your firm or your previous firm’s leadership, supervisors, or peers who do not report to you and can speak on your caliber and capabilities in the distribution, manufacturing, and business environments.
Once you have saved your recommenders' information, an email request will automatically be sent to the recommenders on your behalf. Please advise your recommenders to look for this email in their inbox, as well as in their spam or junk mail folder.
Feel free to refer your recommenders to this LinkedIn article on writing professional letters of recommendation for advanced degrees.
5. Submit both a Personal Statement and an Impact Statement
Keep your required statements to a maximum of 500 words per statement. These statements should explain your motivation behind attending this program and how well you can articulate and communicate your plans. These statements provide us an insight into your writing skills, including mechanics, content organization, originality, and developing a statement from the introduction through the conclusion.
Your Personal Statement should describe the following: How does an MID degree influence your current and future professional success? Upload your response as a single file to the "Personal Statement" section of the EngineeringCAS portal.
Your Impact Statement should discuss a critical problem your organization or industry faces every day: How do you envision the knowledge and experience from the MID program to help you solve this problem?
