The College of Engineering offers a combined degree option, which would allow a student to earn a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering while also earning a Master of Science in finance. Students who successfully complete this program can graduate with both degrees in just five years.
The 164-hour program includes up to nine semester credit hours that apply to both the Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering degree and the Master of Science in finance degree.
This accelerated degree prepares the successful graduate to ensure the economic viability of enterprises. This is accomplished through coursework and experiences in both the stochastic processes used to characterize and model uncertainty and financial knowledge.
Students will take part in a series of internships and practicums that expose them to various areas of financial stability and instability in industry. This program will produce skilled industrial leaders that will ensure the viability of productive organizations around the globe.
