About this research area

We use experimental and computational methods to study how mechanical stimuli regulate the biological function of cells, tissues and organs. By elucidating the mechanisms governing tissue homeostasis and disease progression, our work enables the development of clinically translatable diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
